Like many Americanisms, it has infested most of the world. Some greedy
retailers run their "Black Friday Sale" until Monday (when it then
changes to "Cyber Monday Sale"), a whole week, or even a whole month.
Many of the so-called "deals" are quasi-scams with the "sale" price
being the same or higher than it was the previous week.
